WJLA (7News) recently covered Pathway Homes Mobile Outreach Unit:

February 4, 2026 – A mobile trailer is hitting the D.C. region to offer frequent showers to the homeless population.

The three-unit shower, one being handicap accessible, is a “one of a kind” retrofitted trailer bringing fresh showers to people right where they are. The unit also features two sinks on the back of the trailer, as well as hygiene kits and a water bottle filler.

The project is headed up by Pathway Homes.

“It’s really focusing on our unhoused neighbors, including individuals who are chronically homeless in our community throughout Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C,” Sylisa Lambert-Woodard, President and CEO of Pathway Homes, Inc., told 7News.
