SOCIAL MEDIA
Help us spread awareness on social media platforms on the issues of homelessness and and how to help people reach their individual potential and lead productive, healthy lives. It costs nothing to spread the word and it works! Here’s how:
1) Start by following our pages
2) When you see one of our posts in your social media feed, engage with it by making a supportive comment or simply liking it.
3) Even better is SHARING the post on your news feed so it expands our reach to your own friends to educate others
FLIERS AND INFOGRAPHICS
We are creating a number of images and infographics that can be shared on social media, but also in many other ways. Here are a number of ideas of places/ways they can be shared (just be sure to ask permission):
– on a the bulletin board for a senior center, community center or library
– in a weekly bulletin/program at a house of worship or in their emails to members
– at a local school or YMCA/rec center
– on the bulletin board at a coffee shop
– on the social media page of your HOA or town information page
– community college bulletin boards
– thrift stores / resale shops
– local co-working spaces
– farmers markets vendor boards
– veterinary or dr offices
– independent pharmacies or community health clinics
