Pathway Homes is dedicated to the ongoing efforts to prevent and end homelessness in our community. We are a nonprofit, community-based organization providing non-time-limited housing and supportive services to adults with severe mental illnesses and/or co-occurring disorders, including substance abuse or intellectual disabilities. Our housing programs incorporate a continuum-of-care approach that meet each individual’s needs, where they are, at their unique point on their road to recovery. Case management services focus on helping individuals attain and strengthen the skills needed to manage their mental and physical health, maintain their home, enhance personal relationships, develop healthy life habits, and promote the achievement of personal goals. Job Summary:  We are looking to fill one part-time position.  This position joins an existing team of property management, maintenance, clinical, and administrative staff providing supportive housing to adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders in the community. The position will support our newly developed Housing Stabilization initiative. Candidates for this position will use unique life experience to mentor and support individuals recovering from mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: This position will assist with engaging individuals at various stages of change through outreach and provision of targeted skill building supports.

Job Requirements: High School Diploma, lived experience of mental illness and/or substance use disorder, documented peer support or mental health services experience, ability to travel - sometimes daily - in local (Northern Virginia) area.
