This past quarter, Pathway Homes welcomed several new employees.
Enrique Campos joined Pathway Homes on April 25, 2016 as an Accounts Payable Clerk working in the administrative office. Enrique came to us from a construction company where he supported their accounts payable department. When not working, Enrique enjoys listening to music as well as watching and playing soccer.
Anjaulyeke Covert-Bryant joined Pathway Homes on May 9, 2016 as a Program Director in our Prince William County assisted living facility. Anjaulyeke comes to us with over 30 years of counseling experience, most recently with Brandon House, a crisis stabilization program in Prince William County, where she served as the Program Director for the last 7 years. She received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Buffalo. She is proud to be a Marine Corps wife, which has allowed her to travel across the states. She and her husband have been in the Virginia area with their daughters, 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren for several years. Needless to say, she enjoys time with family, but still finds time to play racquetball, jog and spend time at the gym.
Elizabeth Ferraraccio joined Pathway Homes on May 23, 2016 as a Mental Health Counselor II in our Mid-County Supported Living program. She received her Bachelor of Psychology degree from Virginia Tech and recently obtained her Master of Social Work degree at George Mason University. When not working, she enjoys sailing, gardening, pottery and art.
Latoya Johnson joined Pathway Homes on June 27, 2016 as a Director of Human Resources in our administrative office. Latoya received her Bachelor in Fashion Merchandising degree from VCU but was immediately drawn to the human resources function and has served in professional human resource roles in government, retail and telecommunications industries. She has her Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits, and Global Human Resource certifications and brings a breadth and depth of human resource expertise to the agency. Her parents were both in the Navy and she traveled the world at a very young age including several years living in Greece. She feels this international perspective has helped develop her human resource skill-sets. When not working, she is a dedicated Lakers fan and was even able to meet her idol Kobe Bryant at a recent awards ceremony.
Arturo Orellana joined Pathway Homes on April 19, 2016 as Property Maintenance Coordinator in our administrative office. Arturo comes to us with six years of property management experience, as well as financial and maintenance operational experience from time spent with property management powerhouses such as Kettler, Bozzuto and GHA Management. When not working, he enjoys time relaxing at home, but equally enjoys playing cards with the guys. From September to December he is focused on fantasy football. He wishes football season was year-round!
Princess Reeves joined Pathway Homes on April 25, 2016 as a Housing Locator in the administrative office. Princess comes to us after a 30-year career with the Fairfax County Community Service Board (CSB) Department of Homeless Services. She said that after her retirement from the CSB, Pathway Homes has given her a job that taps into her passion to continue serving the homeless in our community. When not working, she enjoys serving as her daughter’s “Momager” as her daughter pursues her Jazz singing career. Her daughter has performed at many venues in the area and Princess enjoys cheering her on.
Jennifer Semaan joined Pathway Homes on June 6, 2016 as a Mental Health Counselor II in the SHOP program. She was born and raised in Lebanon, where she completed her undergraduate degree, and then moved to the United States three years ago, to get her Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from James Madison University (JMU). Over the years, she has worked in prisons, orphanages, and most recently, JMU’s Counseling Center. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her partner Joe and his family, as well as her own family when they come to visit from abroad. She also enjoys “alone time” reading, painting, and working out.
Faith Spillman joined Pathway Homes on May 16, 2016 as a Mental Health Counselor II at our Stevenson Place assisted living facility. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary Washington and in May this year, obtained her Master in Social Work degree from George Mason University. While completing her Master’s degree, she worked as a rapid rehousing case manager with the Good Shepherd Alliance in Loudoun County. When not working, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, cooking (and eating); spending time with family and friends, and attending spoken word events.
Chynna Swann joined Pathway Homes on April 25, 2016 as a Tenant Certification Clerk in our administrative office. Chynna came to Pathway Homes after working for many years as a pharmacy technician. She was drawn to Pathway Homes’ mission and the desire to work for an agency that helps the community. When not working, she enjoys time with friends and loves to plan theme-based get-togethers with friends and family.
Denise Woods joined Pathway Homes on May 31, 2016 as a Project Director supporting the In-Home Supports program. She received her Bachelor in Psychology degree from Auburn University and her Master in Counseling Psychology degree from Marymount University. Denise comes to us with a great deal of experience having worked as a Program Manager at Community Residences, as well as at Fairfax County and Marymount University. When not working, she enjoys swimming, biking, walking, cooking and spending time with her family.
