Congratulations Tu Ly on being recognized as Employee of the Quarter for the fall of 2015.
Tu Ly truly exemplifies the qualities of a "team player", stepping up to the plate in a multitude of ways. Tu readily takes on additional responsibilities and takes it all in stride with good humor. He does this while providing thoughtful and creative support and interventions to residents in his primary counselor role. For example, Tu provides invaluable support to our Vietnamese speaking residents who have come to trust him to accurately translate their needs and engage with them in a way that no other staff can. Tu serves as the interpreter for these residents without hesitation, even at times when he has multiple other tasks on his plate that demand his attention. Outside his primary counselor role, it is clear that Tu has great rapport with all other residents at Stevenson Place as they all approach him frequently for assistance.
As a participant in weekly clinical team meetings, Tu provides good clinical insights, asks relevant questions, and engages in problem-solving with his peers around challenging clinical issues. He also exhibits good judgment in crisis situations, which he approaches with a level-head and appropriate follow up. Tu Ly has demonstrated tremendous growth and is truly deserving of the Employee of the Quarter award.
