April 6, 2015, Fairfax, VA - For the 4th year in a row, Pathway Homes has been named one of the “Best Nonprofits to Work For” by The NonProfit Times. Pathways is ranked 6th in the nation among medium-sized nonprofits, employing 50 to 249 employees, and placed 22nd out of the top 50 nonprofits of all size.
The NonProfit Times is the leading business publication for nonprofit management. Launched in April 1987, The NonProfit Times delivers news, business information and original research on the daily operations of tax-exempt organizations. The NonProfit Times produces this annual ranking based on a nation-wide survey of nonprofit employees. Nonprofit employees surveyed on workplace practices including leadership, planning, work environment, training and development, and job satisfaction.
“Pathway Homes is again thrilled to be recognized as one of the nation’s best nonprofits to work for,” says Dr. Sylisa Lambert-Woodard, Pathways President and CEO. “What is particularly pleasing about this award is that it is based on employee feedback. To be ranked in the top 10 of agencies our size means that our efforts to recruit, train, support, and recognize our staff are truly paying off. We absolutely believe that the quality of care provided to those we serve hinges on the excellence of our staff. This award demonstrates our commitment to attract and retain the best.”
Other organizations named to the 2015 list Best Nonprofits to Work For include the Wounded Warrior Project and the Alzheimer’s Association, as well as Pathways’ local partner PRS, Inc.
