Pathway Homes proudly presents Mr. Patrick Chaing as the newest member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Chaing is an attorney currently employed in the Office of the General Counsel of Sallie Mae, Inc. His qualifications, experience, and interest in mental health law make him uniquely positioned to complement the existing skill set of the Pathway Homes Board of Directors.
“I look forward to working alongside my esteemed colleagues on the Board,” says Chaing, “and especially the employees of Pathway Homes, who contribute so much toward realizing the agency’s vision – a future in which all individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disabilities are able to lead meaningful, self-directed lives in a home of their choice with the supports and services they need.”
He is particularly interested in promoting Pathway Homes’ philanthropic activities and engaging in regional advocacy on behalf of the agency. “Pathway Homes is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of some of the most deserving yet underserved members of our community,” says Chaing, “I am honored to contribute to its mission and further development.”
Mr. Chaing is a graduate of Princeton University and George Mason University School of Law. He is currently a member of the Virginia State Bar, Fairfax Bar Association, and Association of Corporate Counsel.
